Training & Employment

Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

SCSEP places older adults in community service positions that provide them with valuable training and work experience. Through assignments with our local nonprofit and governmental partners, Senior Aides gain confidence, enhance their incomes, learn valuable employment skills and support their communities.

For more information about our SCSEP program, contact Cindi Crutchfield at (423) 755-6123 or ccrutchfield@alexianbrothers.net.

Volunteerism

Retired Senior and Volunteer Program (RSVP)

A nationwide volunteer program, Retired Senior and Volunteer Program (RSVP) invites adults age 55 and over to use their life experience and skills to answer the call of their neighbors in need.

Almost 1,000 hours a week…that’s what Alexian Brothers Senior Neighbors RSVP volunteers have donated over the last 12 months to 37 different non-profit groups in the Chattanooga area. And those volunteer hours amount to more than $965,000 of assistance to our community! The time and talents of Senior Neighbors RSVP volunteers are critical to the mission of the organizations in which they volunteer and vital to the Chattanooga area.

Contact Colleen Combs at (423) 668-2141 or ccombs@alexianbrothers.net for more information about RSVP.
