Volunteer Information

Trinity Hospice relies on a caring and compassionate  group of people - Our Volunteers. Volunteers are needed to assist with patient care, companion services, office and clerical support, professional services, and public education.

Companion Services
Volunteers will help hospice patients and families with their every day needs, such as running errands, grocery shopping household cleaning, and many other things that we all have to do every day. They may also help patients write letters, read them books and simply be there to listen to their stories.

Professional Services
It is so easy to make someone feel better by giving a little special treatment, such as a much needed shampoo and hairstyling, manicures, some properly placed make-up, etc. If you have a skill that could be put to use, please contact us to see how you can help.

Office and Clerical Support
This is a great volunteer opportunity for someone who has the desire to help, but is uncomfortable working with the terminally ill. Support is needed to assist our staff in filing, light typing and with mailings. Though the office/clerical support may not seem to be as "glorious" to some people, this type of volunteer work is just as needed and just as important!
