Our Skilled Care unit offers specialized care to residents who are seriously ill. An individualized care plan is developed for all patients and our staff works with each resident to achieve attainable goals. All areas of patient care are supervised by our licensed nursing staff 24 hours a day and may include PT, OT, ST, and Restorative Nursing.
This Medicare-based, short-term unit is devoted to providing specialized care to residents who have recently been released from a hospital setting and are need of continued care. Skilled Care is geared to provide therapy for those who are able to return to their former living situation.
Our strong rehabilitation program is designed to return residents to a level of functioning that enables them to resume former activities of daily living. Through careful screening and evaluation, our skilled team of physical, occupational, speec and respiratory therapists develops individual programs to accommodate the needs of each resident.
Professional medical personnel provide dental, laboratory, optometry, podiatry and psychiatric services, as well as hearing screenings, through qualified local agencies.
