Here at Life Care of Missionary Ridge, individuals are able to attain services such as skilled and intermediate (Long-Term) care. A home away from home, Life Care Center of Missionary Ridge offers a comfortable, attractive environment where residents receive the nursing and rehabilitative services they need, while maintaining an appropriate level of independence.
Our Skilled Care unit offers specialized care to residents who are seriously ill. This short-term rehabilitation program is designed to return residents to a level of functioning that enables them to resume former activities of daily living.
Residents are also encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities planned by a professional Activity Director. Volunteers and staff work diligently to create a fun-loving and self-fulfilling atmosphere.
A certified Social Services Director works closely with the health care team, family and resident in assessing medical, social and emotional needs of each resident. Care conferences are held regularly with families and the entire health care team to establish a plan of care and to monitor each resident's progress. Social Services arranges for ancillary services such as dental, optometry, podiatry, psychiatric services and facilitates in the transportation of patients to and from Physician appointments.
