Outdoor Chattanooga to Host Bike Rides for Older Adults
Looking for new ways to be active? Think you’ve forgotten how to ride a bike? Want to enjoy a leisurely ride with new people?
Outdoor Chattanooga hosts FREE bike rides at the Riverpark for adults age 55 years and older. Bring your bike or borrow one of ours to join the fun! Dates: Every 2nd and 4th Monday (June 13, June 27, Aug 8, Aug 22) *no rides in July Time: 6:00 – 7:30p.m. Location: Fry Center parking lot on the Riverpark (4801 Amnicola Hwy, Robinson Bridge Entrance) Type of Ride: Beginner friendly, some small hills Length of Ride: 4-8 miles, depending on rider ability If borrowing a bike, a reservation is required to ensure availability. For adults with joint or bone issues, adaptive cycles may be available.
