Senior Neighbors Orchestra to Perform Christmas Concert Tuesday, December 14

The Senior Neighbors Orchestra will present their annual Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 14 at 11 a.m. at White Oak Baptist Church located at 310 Memorial Drive in Red Bank. There will be no admission charge.

Founded in 1967, the Senior Neighbors Orchestra is composed of primarily of retired musicians in the Chattanooga area. The Senior Neighbors Orchestra rehearses on Monday mornings at 10 a.m. at the Alexian Brothers Senior Neighbors building at 250 E. 10^th Street in downtown Chattanooga. Interested parties are welcome to audition each January.

Senior Neighbors, one of the nine area Alexian Brothers ministries, was founded nearly 50 years ago in Chattanooga by Ginny Power. Designed to help seniors in our area age successfully, Senior Neighbors provides vocational, social, mental, spiritual and physical opportunities for seniors at four community centers. • Computer, ballroom dance, yoga, and T’ai Ji classes
• Monthly men’s luncheon featuring a different speaker each month
• Day and overnight bus trips
• Scenic City Chorale and Senior Neighbors Orchestra
• Health and wellness screenings
• Foreign language and art clubs
• Free Lunch and Learn events
