Medicare Diabetes Education Class

A Medicare Diabetes Education Class will be taught Thursday, February 4 at 4 p.m. at the Rhea Medical Center. Call 776-8636 or 339-1415 to register.

Class objectives taught by Registered Dietitian:

·      How to count carbohydrates to promote blood sugar control

·      Understanding how heart disease and diabetes are linked

·      Prevent consequences of poor blood sugar control

·      Tips on dining out  &  healthy cooking techniques

·      How to accurately read food labels

·      Free glucose monitor
