Hospice of Chattanooga is expanding its marketing department and has named former television news reporter Rachel Withers as public relations coordinator.
Prior to joining the Hospice of Chattanooga team, Ms. Withers worked as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor for WRCB-TV 3. During that time, she covered everything from breaking news to in-depth feature reports, and was recognized twice for her investigative reporting. She has also worked as a news reporter in both Ohio and West Virginia.
“I can think of a cause no more worthy than Hospice of Chattanooga,” said Ms. Withers. “I have always considered myself a story-teller, and I am excited to join this outstanding organization, which has so many inspiring stories to tell. I feel very privileged I can play a role in that process at Hospice of Chattanooga.”
Hospice of Chattanooga was founded in 1981. It is the community’s oldest, largest, not-for-profit hospice. Hospice of Chattanooga is supported by United Way and serves more than 500 patients each day.
